DESCRIPTION:I will be presenting an introductory session on Records Management at the 2018 LEARN (Law Enforcement and Records Managers Network) Conference on October 22 in Stratford, Ontario.  This will be a high-level presentation to familiarize attendees with the main concepts of records management (RM), including retention/destruction, legal holds, spoliation, etc. and discuss how police services can benchmark their RM maturity.\nThe LEARN conference runs from October 21-23, 2018, and is intended for people in policing involved with records (including CPIC, RTID, disclosure of information, record checks and criminal records) to learn about current trends and hot issues, while networking with peers from across the province.\n
