SUMMARY:Records Management in a Changing Environment – iSchool Institute RM Certificate Course
DESCRIPTION:This spring I will once again be teaching 4 certificate courses at the University of Toronto’s iSchool Institute.  The iSchool Institute is the Faculty of Information’s continuing education arm at U of T, and offer two certificate programs in Records Managment:  Records Management Fundamentals and Records Management Practice.  The certificates are offered several times a year in Toronto, Ottawa, Edmonton and on the web.\n \nOn May 10 I will be teaching the course on Records Management in a Changing Environment.  It is the fifth course of the Practice certificate.\nHere is the course description from the iSchool website:\n[framed_box]\nRecords Management in a Changing Environment\nThe practice of records management is constantly evolving in response to changes in information technology, business practices, legislation, and economic and social factors. In order to play an integral role in managing those changes, Records Managers must understand how the external environment influences and even forces changes in the way information is managed.
